- Requirements Gathering and Functional Design for Payments Applications and their peripheral applications
- Define and deliver Business Requirements
- Translate Business requirements to Functional/Interface Requirements for Vendor as well as Internal Barclays systems
- Review and participate in the Functional Solution
- Maintain requirements / analysis traceability from design deliverables to business requirements.
- Experience in development of functional analysis deliverables from Business Requirements (BRDs)
- High level application functional specifications, Detailed interface requirements, System business flows.
- Experience in performing Impact Analysis, maintaining System / interface / business rule catalogues
- Define and maintain volumetric / usage profiles & forecasts and its impacts
- Define High level User Interface storyboards
- Coordinate meetings and discussions with stakeholders and team members
- Conduct “walk-through” of recommended system functionality and prototypes with stakeholders

- Minimum qualification –Engineering Graduate or MCA (or equivalent degree)
- Very strong Payments knowledge from a business, operational and technology perspective
- Strong knowledge of e2e payment life cycle and workflows
- Strong BA skills/experience
- Understanding of Payments processing and the various message formats like SWIFT MT, ISO20022
- Understanding of Payments High Value and low value payments system
- Working knowledge of various clearing system
- Experience of detailed design through production of FRDs (Functional Requirements Definition) and IRDs (Interface Requirements Definition.
- Awareness about industry/regulatory changes and the impact thereof
- Team player with strong communications skills
- Stakeholder management including working with business owners and external stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise, understand value and work with the product owner to align project delivery priorities with business priorities
- Must have experience of working in an IT project environment preferably in banking and financial sector
Skills that will help you in the role:
- Experience in Agile methodologies and artefacts like user story, Kanban board etc
- Understanding of the test automation and BDD framework.
