Job Role & ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Assist in defining, refining, and managing product goals, roadmaps, and feature requirements aligned with business objectives.
- Conduct customer research, market and competitor analysis, and data-driven insights to support product and testing strategies.
- Prepare and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and acceptance criteria for new features.
- Participate in agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, analytics, and compliance teams to ensure smooth delivery of business solutions.
- Create, review, and execute test cases and scripts; participate in functional and regression testing.
- Log, track, and manage defects using tools like JIRA and TestRail, ensuring timely resolution and retesting.
- Support basic automation testing, environment readiness, and test data management.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), feature adoption, and product quality metrics.
- Prepare presentations, dashboards, and progress reports for internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of product delivery and testing processes, ensuring adherence to data privacy, information security, and compliance standards at American Express.
Qualification & Skills RequiredÂ
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (B.Tech / B.E.), BCA, B.Sc. Computer Science / Information technology.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail capabilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, digital platforms, and software testing fundamentals (SDLC/STLC).
- Knowledge of tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, SQL, Python, or Postman preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data and reporting tasks.
