Responsibilities – Arup Off Campus 2026

• Support the preparation of civil engineering designs, drawings, calculations, and technical documentation under supervision.
• Assist with drainage, surface water, and Section 278 designs in line with relevant standards and guidance.
• Coordinate design inputs within multidisciplinary teams and help resolve technical issues.
• Provide timely updates, revisions, and support to project managers and engineers as requirements evolve.
• Participate in design reviews, quality checks, and continuous improvement of modelling and drafting processes.
• Maintain high accuracy and compliance with CAD standards, data protocols, and best practices.
• Develop technical knowledge by engaging with senior team members and staying up to date with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and GIS workflows.

Qualification & Skills Required – Arup Off Campus 2026

• Degree in Utilities, Civil, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong experience in civil engineering design with exposure to industry or early‑career roles.
• Basic understanding of UK design standards, regulations, and approval processes
• Willingness to learn and develop skills in drainage, highways, and infrastructure design
• Detail‑focused, methodical, and confident in questioning unclear or inconsistent information
• Collaborative, pragmatic, and able to work effectively within teams under programme pressures
• Committed to high standards of quality, safety, and professional conduct, working towards ICE or similar accreditation.
