Responsibilities 

• Learn and assist in preparing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Execute manual and basic automated tests to identify bugs and issues.
• Work closely with the development team to understand features and functionalities.
• Report defects clearly with proper documentation and follow up on issue resolution.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, reviews, and sprint meetings.
• Perform regression testing and ensure software compliance with design specifications.
• Maintain documentation of test processes and results and contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy.

Qualification & Skills Required 

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (BE), Bachelor’s degree in IT or CS (B.Sc) or Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
• Basic understanding of software testing concepts and SDLC/STLC.
• Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Good analytical, logical thinking skills, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, etc.) is a plus.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (Java, Python, or similar) is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
