- Design and implement technology solutions: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement systems, networks, and infrastructure solutions that align with business objectives. This includes evaluating requirements, selecting appropriate technologies, and ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
- System administration and maintenance: Manage and maintain systems, servers, and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and uptime. Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and implement necessary updates and patches.
- Cloud services management: Leverage cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS to deploy and manage cloud-based applications, virtual machines, storage, and networking components. Configure and optimize cloud services to meet business needs while maintaining security and cost-efficiency.
- Endpoint management: Utilize Intune, Endpoint Central, and antivirus solutions to manage and secure endpoints across the organization. Implement policies, configurations, and updates to ensure compliance, data protection, and optimal performance.
- Network infrastructure management: Configure, monitor, and maintain Cisco networking equipment, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs. Ensure network performance, security, and connectivity across the organization.
- Security and data protection: Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems, networks, and data from potential threats. This includes managing user access controls, implementing security policies, and monitoring vulnerabilities.
- Technical support and troubleshooting: Provide technical support to end-users, addressing hardware and software issues, network connectivity problems, and system performance concerns. Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
- Documentation and knowledge sharing: Create and maintain accurate system documentation, including network diagrams, configuration details, and standard operating procedures. Share knowledge and best practices with team members to promote continuous improvement and efficient operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends: Keep abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in systems engineering, cloud computing, networking, security, and endpoint management. Evaluate and recommend new technologies or enhancements to existing infrastructure to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience & Skills Required – Community Brands Off Campus Jobs 2023
- Proven experience as a Systems Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive.
- Experience with Cisco networking equipment and protocols, including switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS, including infrastructure deployment and management.
