- Create, develop, and maintain the software code base of Credit products working in an agile environment.
- Analyses and reviews system requirements. Uses requirement and other design documents to gain overall understanding of the functionality of the new or enhanced application.
- Participate actively in the build phases, to aim at producing high quality deliverables.
- Provide recommendations on product and development environment improvements.
- Defect fixing & enhancement is the responsibility of developer.
Experience & Skills Required – Morningstar Software Engineer Jobs 2024
- A minimum of 1 years experience working as a Python software developer with a total experience of 2+ years
- Python based full stack development, using FAST/ Django/Flask or other MVC frameworks experience is required.
- Unit test case writing understanding is required.
- Exposure to cloud services like AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is good to have.
- Source Control knowledge preferably Git/stash must have.
- Understanding of DevOps processes including packaging, deploying, execution on docker or serverless is good to have.
- Understanding of CI/CD tools preferably Jenkins is good to have.
- Experience in agile is good to have.
- Willingness to learn & work on cross technologies must have.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
