Responsibilities – Gartner Off Campus Drive 2025
- Contribute to Design, development and maintenance of a scalable and secure data platform using AWS, Snowflake, dbt and Prefect.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Github Actions to automate and standardize practices across the platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data infrastructure and workflows.
- Build tools, libraries and services that allow other teams to own and manage their own pipelines and workflows independently.
- Help manage data platform components: orchestration frameworks, data catalog, access control layers.
Qualification & Skills Required –Â Gartner Data Engineer (Python, SQL, AWS) Jobs 2025
- 2 to 4 years of hand-on experience working in data infrastructure/data platform engineering or related roles with a bachelor’s degree
- Proficiency in Python and experience building backend services or CLI tools.
- Familiarity with modern SQL query engines, analytical platforms and warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks etc.).
- Understanding of cloud data ecosystems, preferably AWS (S3, EKS, Glue, IAM, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with orchestration frameworks (Airflow, Prefect etc.).
Nice to have:
- Exposure to CI/CD, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and GitOps practices.
- Solid foundation in distributed systems and data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark).
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker and container-based deployment models.
