Job Role & Responsibilities – IMEG Off Campus 2026

• The Graduate Trainee Engineer (Probation) will focus on building a strong foundational knowledge base and developing the skills necessary to execute tasks accurately and efficiently.
• During this probationary period, the trainee will work under close supervision, receiving guidance and support from experienced engineers.
• A key focus will be on utilizing and learning design software relevant to the industry, ensuring the trainee gains proficiency in essential tools.
• The Graduate Trainee Engineer will also be expected to attend training sessions to further enhance their technical skills and understanding of industry practices.
• Additionally, the trainee must demonstrate a commitment to understanding and adhering to all company policies and procedures.

Qualification & Skills Required – IMEG Off Campus 2026

• B.E./B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering required
• 0 to 2 years of experience in a related field required
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
• Strong technical and analytical skills including knowledge of principles relating to circuit theory, electromagnetism, power systems, and electronics as they relate to electrical systems design for buildings
• Knowledge of industry standard engineering software and tools, including lighting photometric calculation software such as AGI, Elum Tools, Visual Lighting, or other; energy compliance software such as ComCheck; and familiar use of Adobe or Bluebeam Revu
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
• Basic knowledge in the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM) software
• Professional attitude and an abidance to company policies and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft and MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
