Key Responsibilities – PwC Off Campus Freshers 2024
- Collaborate with the ERP teams within the organization (i.e., local ERP team) as well as global ERP and ERP tax teams within the network to identify opportunities to implement tax solutions within ERP
- Work with the local/ global ERP team (as the case may be) and our clients to define tax transformation strategies
- Engage and collaborate with clients to understand and solve tax problems through the application of technology
- Translate business & tax requirements into technical specifications to guide solution design and implementation of tax models in ERP
- Assist the functional ERP team with drafting of the functional design specifications from a tax POV
- Assist the technical ERP team with configuration of tax functionality within the system
- Testing all the tax frameworks in the ERP system to ensure they are tax compliant
- Support UAT and gather feedback from test audience from a tax perspective
- Participate in identification of technology solutions and process changes for our clients across different tax areas (direct tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax)
In this role, you would also:
- Collaborate & support members within the tax transformation team
- Contribute to business development activities and team capability development
- Manage stakeholders and the overall project by defining target outcomes & project delivery strategy
Experience & Skills Required – PwC Off Campus Freshers 2024
- The Candidate have 0 – 2 years experience
- Functional knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics, etc.), tax tools and calculation engines in the market, etc.
- An understanding of how tax operates within large multinational organizations and general awareness of all taxes
- At least 1-2 years of experience with ERP implementation projects from a taxation POV
- Ability to design tax strategy and framework for automation
- Experience with process mapping, organizational re-design and suggesting improvements in tax processes
- Ability to identify technology solutions and/or process or operational changes across different tax areas (corporate tax, transfer pricing, indirect tax, etc.)
- Strong project management skills (planning, documentation, etc.) and the ability to manage several different work streams at once
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
