Key Responsibilities – Reckitt Analyst QA Engineer Jobs 2024
- Accountable for the testing strategy and implementation plan for the ServiceNow platform roadmap activities.
- Designs, documents, and executes tests which validate whether platform requirements and automation solutions have been satisfied according to the required quality.
- Define KPIs to measure, validate, and report on platform quality and reusability.
- Enables the automation of the end to end testing setup.
- Development of test plans in accordance with good software engineering and systems practices, ensuring a balance between test coverage and required testing effort
- Enables a measurable QA – preparation of metrics, dashboards, and reports that measure platform reusability in accordance with testing standards.
- Liaises with Platform Team members (e.g., Platform Manager, Platform Engineers) to implement testing strategy, ensuring reusability of platforms
- Upskills the development teams members to enhance & improve the test quality.
Experience & Skills Required – Reckitt Off Campus Freshers 2024
Technical:
- Highly competent in testing fundamentals (e.g., TDD, BDD)
- Highly skilled at the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) & allied test tooling framework suitable for the ServiceNow platform including test automation tooling.
- Strong understanding of how to develop and implement test strategies, especially for test automation.
- Experienced in bug/defect tracking, test management toolsets & driving the entire test lifecycle within an Agile framework.
- Understanding of the ServiceNow platform & it’s core concepts with hands on knowledge is a great advantage.
Functional:
- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle
- Basic understanding of the ServiceNow modules within different business domains (Eg: ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SPM etc.); able to interpret business requirements
- Familiar with IT standards and controls.
- Solid exposure to the product-platform ways of working in an Agile environment.
- Understanding of ITIL Processes. ITIL4 – practical knowledge is an added advantage.
- Abreast of the latest thinking & best practices on testing frameworks & test tooling including automations.
